Wear Your Sunscreen

I wrote my MEJO 577 blog last week sharing lessons I’ve learned so far in my twenty’s. You guys loved it, so here is part 2. It’s better than the first one :)

6). Life advice is kind of like clothing - try it on, and if it doesn’t fit, discard it and try something else. Like clothing, bad advice will go unused within a few weeks, but good advice is like a capsule piece that will last you a lifetime.

7). Love is not the cause of commitment, but the effect - don’t wait until you find the perfect relationship to commit to a person. You commit to the person in order to create the [perfect relationship.

8). Trust people - and while you might get hurt or embarrassed, most people are really good.

Here are the few people in my life that I love unconditionally and I get the same in return. Trust is the currency of all relationships.

9). Floss and wear your sunscreen every day - I sound like my mom. But it’s great advice

10). Don’t be normal - statistically speaking, a normal person in America is obese, anxious or depressed, and in debt. So don’t be normal. Be unequivocally weird instead.
