A Happy life is Not Without Stress
Here are my personal top 5 life lessons I've learned so far in my 22 years of living. This is the good stuff, let’s dig in
1). Your self-relationship sets the template for all other relationships - If you treat yourself poorly, you will also unconsciously seek out and tolerate others who treat you poorly. So, get right with yourself, then get right with the world.
2). Worthwhile things in life compound over a period of time - confidence, relationships, wealth, and health are valuable things we all want to achieve, but they take time. I often find myself frustrated that I don’t have the best eating habits or my dream job yet, but that’s because I’m YOUNG. If you start building it now (and you don’t stop), you will get there. In the meantime, slow down and enjoy the now.
3). The only mistake is not making the mistake - you have to take risks. I’ve realized successful people do not strictly adhere to a regimented lifestyle. Success and failure are obscured concepts that are laid out in your mind before you do something — not after.
4). Take small steps - motivation is not the cause of action, but the effect. I often feel most motivated when I do something small towards the bigger goal. Let the momentum carry you forward.
5). A happy life is not without stress, it’s a life with meaningful stress - do I need to say more?
